Thank you for stopping by and for viewing my work. I am a mother of three wonderful stepchildren, a wife to a loving and supportive husband, and I also work full time. I have no formal training in art, but from a young age wanted to be an artist. The problem was I wasn't any good at drawing or painting. I couldn’t translate from my brain to the paper/canvas what I saw.  I did have other talents, singing is a passion of mine, I sing in the shower and car every day. (grins) I also dabble with stain glasswork, scrapbook, stamping, embroidery, needlepoint and the list goes on.
December 2006 I found Daz Studios and for the first time was able to at least get some of the images I saw in my head out. But it wasn't as easy as it seemed. Nothing good ever is. I started posting images on Renderosity and met some wonderful people who invited me to join a group of people who all used Daz Studios and so my learning increased. We now have a wonderful forum called Daz Artist Guild dedicated to helping people who want to improve their skills using Daz Studios.ÂÂ

DLG- - -> You've put together a very nice Victoria faerie here and I like the pose. Her left breast has some clipping issues with the dress. Expect a PM from me over at Dazney Land with some suggestions. No need for detail here.

DLG... I disagree about the clipping issue.. it seems that way, until you look at it full size. Then you can see that the top of the dress is just partially transparent, as I'm sure the other side would show if you could see it. As far as the shadows go, I agree that they would add to the scene, but only in a small way that is not really missed in this render. For a first try at doing a Fae, I think you've done very well! I like the sparkle effects and the pose. Keep at it...

Thank you all! I will be reworking this and posting it as soon as it's done. There is a shadow under her, but with the mist (fog) you really can't see any more. I really appreciate the feed back, I won't improve with out it!

DLG :) Beautiful pose and mood to this render!! For a first fairy you can be proud!! Remark: The edges on some parts of her body (leg / chest) show a bit rough postwork. For better resulsts you could zoom in on the image and use smaller brushes when blurring/smudging.. but hey, what do I know? :)

DLG-Nice image! My only wish is that the dress had a more colorful texture to contrast her pale skin and hair, and maybe some more interest in the background such as trees not part of the background or a prop or two.

DLG I think it looks great as far as the posing and the dress is beautiful.. The background maybe would look better with a little more in it. The fog doesnt fit the image. But other than that it is great!
