"I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river." ~ Chuang Tzu
Sort of a busy photograph, but I just love the look of the trees and spanish moss trailing over the dense waters of this part of the river at Blue Springs, FL. The darker leaves of the foreground are in shadow, making for an interesting spatial interplay with the brighter ones beyond. For those interested, we have started a dedicated forum thread about INFRARED PHOTOGRAPHY HERE. ----- EDIT: I agreed that the colors and content make this image a little hard to get into, so I went back and cropped it in closer, adjusted the color tint and made it bigger so that it is easier to appreciate. Be sure to view it full size for the best detail. I also uploaded a regular color image taken at that same spot so you could compare. Click on the image below to see the full size version. Thank you for the feedback!

Both photos look great but I love the textured look of the IR. Could be a fractal.

My eyes see this as clouds resting just below the tree tops. Good imagination, huh? I love it for the way it pulls me in and keeps me looking. Super, Kort. Hugs, Suzanne

The IR seems to change the very texture of the moss and leaves. An amazing spot, made more interesting. BJ
