Another picture (on the same page) with the horizon line right in the middle of the composition...(generally not recommended... rule of 1/3's !) but here also, I have to admit : it's working, especially with the pond ! Great colors !

I checked out both versions ... they are both BEAUTIFUL! The colors are so very vivid and crisp. I can certainly see why it is your favorite pond! I can imagine sitting along the banks with a canteen of water and just whiling away the hours S Great capture Boris! TY so much for sharing!

What a sweet little pond this is, too. Do birds ever go there? Not too far from here, there is a pond quite similar. And every year, I see it filled with swans. :) Much too far away to zoom in on with the camera .. so sometimes I just pull off on the side of the road and just watch them. Beautiful picture... this is nice.
