i hope everyone likes this image im trying to figure out how to make thumbnails in photoshop it is so frustrating

There's no magic "thumbnail button" in PSD. 1. Create a new file at 200x200px. 2. Paste in your image (this creates a new layer). 3. Scale (edit/transform) the image layer to your liking. 4. Use the "save for web" option (file menu). 5. Set for .jpg and adjust compression settings for image quality vs. size. That's pretty much it. Good luck and welcome Nora!
