Description

A photograph of the moon on a cloudy night. It looked like a good nebula for somewhere in the Outer Dark sector of the Galaxy.

I always try to take pictures of the moon at night but it always turns out so small! Great night shot :-)

Zoom in real tight, and hold that camera REAL steady. Those low light shots get me a lot because I tend to just snap a picture and walk away. Not real good if the shutter is still wide open.

Eye of God Nebula: Urban Legend Exposed! ;D I think you may be right, a little photomanip and this could be a convincing nebula in a larger starscape. Does your camera have a self-timer? You can get an ultra-steady shot using it.

It does. Someday I'll get a tripod for it. Maybe I'll have the the money for a tripod after the gas prices drop.:( I figure if I recolor the moon a little redder and maybe add a tiny green dot in the middle, I could simulate the Mote in Murcheson's Eye. I think that was supposed to be more of a cowled man, though.
