Description
Hi guys,
I want to say 'thanks to everyone who commented on my last couple uploads'. I appreciate it:)
This is another shot from the Adelaide Gaol (series).
Taken in the new section of the Gaol, well, the last built/completed section of the Gaol.
Canon 400D 18-55mm (kit)
HDR in Photomatrix (-2 0 +2 bracketing)
Desaturated, high pass (dodge&burn) and painted in the light in the doorway/exit to make it look a little more interesting, and to try something a little different - done in Photoshop.
Thanks for looking and comments:)
-Michael

Excellent work, and thank you for explaining the process you used for this piece.

One of my fathers friends visited this gaol last year and she took a photo from upstairs around this part (Got no direct directions as I have never been to it but I can gather from her photo to yours) and she had a most interesting abnormality apear on it in the form on a woman :) I was stunned when dad showed me the photo (hard copy and verified from the negs). I really like this and would love to see it one day. You gave this photo its own eeriness with the sunlight glow from the doorway, well done :)

It is a good thing that you are planning a series of Adelaide Gaol, for i find that places like these should be recorded and documented before they are completly vandalised and leveled and somehting is build there. Thank you for sharing. egmont
