this big fella was trying to hide from his many admirers at the zoo. I believe he is an arctic owl,( there were two species in this cage which was beside the polar bear exhibit ). any hoo, I thought he looked great. nikon n80 matte in photoshop cs thanks for your kind words on my previous upload. comments are welcome have a super weekend.

years ago I saw a white owl during daylight fly across a field and turned and went back disappearing. people told me, oh, you did not see a white owl since they do not live here.of course I know what I saw because it was only maybe 50' away from me. I think it belonged to someone with illegal possession of an endangered species, because the zoo never mentioned it had lost one. yours is an excellent capture and they are so beautiful
