Description
'Wasteland'
The single most complex and demanding project that I have undertaken and I loved every minute :)
Fifty hours of Photoshop painting and not a 3D model in sight - I must be mad!
The full size image is a massive 9000 X 5000 and weighs in at 128MB which is way larger than anything else that I've done.
Thanks for looking, I really appreciate it.

Excellent image and atmosphere. Fantastic depiction of a world after an holocaust. Worth every hour invested on it.

This is mind boggling, the work that went into this .. wow. The details are incredible, and yeah, I liked the candle box too, it's those little details .. the cool stuff in the junk pile .. the feel of the place, the hopelessness, yet life clings tenaciously ..

This is awesome! Your dedication to your art is amazing. (And I thought 10 hours on one of my designs was out there (when I used to do Escher-ish work on graph paper...)And the art speaks for itself.

Great, now pan around it! : ) Fifty hours a frame at 25 fps = about 2 months per second of animation! Woof! I'm sure it would have taken a lot longer to set up all the 3D "junk" for just one frame plus it has that wonderful organic feel. Great details, nice 3D rendering engine inside your head. Congrats on AOM.
