The things I create are mostly for my own amusement. If, indeed, you like them, I am pleased. It is all a learning experience. For those of you who have made comments, I thank you for your most gracious feedback and comments.
I recently upgraded to the gift of a Pentax ist DL SLR camera, with a pair of lenses to go with it, a DA 50-200mm ED lens, and a DA 18-55mm AL lens. I am blessed.
For those who have inquired, I do have the originals on all insets in collages. just ask.
BIO
I am an Entertainer (My band, Sounder). My major focus is my performance on stage. I have worked in all phases of Entertainment production, done some acting, and kept things working or fixed them when they broke. But, when I get away from the business and need time to relax and enjoy some strictly personal time, I create new images, whether abstract or from the photos I have taken in my travels. I have wanted to get into photography for a long time, but never could handle the expense, or the wait for developing pictures, that in many cases were trashed. Then,... wonder of wonders, I was given a digital camera (Olympus C-750 Ultra Zoom with a combination 40X optical and digital zoom, 4 Megapixel)! It has opened my eyes to the small miracles mixed into the "big picture." Most of my "post" work is done with Macromedia Fireworks and Adobe Photoshop. To all of you very kind folks who have recently commented on my work, I thank you, humbly. If I don't get back to you, it's because my life has gotten very busy lately, and I seem to be constantly on the go. I do appreciate your input.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know little about me. Namaste.

How very interesting! It looks like someone tore up the track on either end and just left that one section for this car to sit on. It appears to have been modified at some point. I haven't seen a lot of rail cars with bumpouts. Great capture!

Fuuny how theres no track to go anywhere, nice shot. This would look really cool if you converted the background to sepia or black n white and keep the train in colour!!

It looks so sad just sitting there like that, nearly forgotten. Nice photo.

Great capture. Bay-window cabooses were common on the B&O, C&O, and Western Maryland. Got a 'collection' of five of them down the street from where I live. I believe one of the above donated them to the town and they are standing next to the old station.

I used to see alot of the bay window cabooses down south as a kid. I guess so that the guys in there could get a better view of the track in both directions. But, unfortunately as the technology has changed, they sadly become a thing of the past. Great shot.

I miss seeing the caboose at the end of the train. I use to wonder what it would be like to ride in one. Seeing this brings back memories. Thanks for the Photo...
