I'm updatiing my bio because my images are changing over the years. I used to do be very influenced by my own neighborhood in L.A. right between the infamous Sunset Strip and the clubs where all the celebs party, doing mostly just beautiful model type girls and headshots, but then I went to Comic-Con and everything changed. I got into doing pin-ups of comic book characters, fantasy and sci-fi, especially sci-fi! I went to the SYFY channel party at Comic-Con and was in heaven LOL, met creators and talent from Stargate, Eureka, Warehouse 13... I love their slogan "Imagine Greater." I think that's one of my goals in life, to imagine greater...
While most people are going for super-realistic renders, I mostly choose to do something less realistic and more artistic and do TONS of post-work in Photoshop, because I love it!
My images tend to be colorful, a bit oversaturated, probably because life in L.A. is oversaturated. Life here is like Wonderland, a crazy wild life where you never know what to expect... As fun as L.A. can be, it can also be riduculously superficial and full of vapid self-absorbed people, so I'd give it all up in a heartbeat to go through a wormhole, to another dimension, go on a spaceship, maybe even meet ETs... But creating art and writing does allow me to disappear for a while through a Stargate into my own imagination... :)

Thanks to everyone for all your comments!
All the best and imagine greater!

Beautiful expression and lighting ! Superbe portrait ! I usually do big size renders (3000 x 3000 at 600 dpi) and then select a little piece of it that I paste into my thumbnail base, shrink it a bit if necessary and saved it in JPEG with a compression rate between 20/30 in PSP9. I never use Photoshop for image compression because the result is not as good as it is in PSP9, don't ask me why ! :) My thumbnails never get over 10ko, even the larger ones I post at DAZ3D. I hope this will help you a little ;)

Thanks Zazou for your help (and comment!) I don't have PSP, just Photoshop. Finally I saved it as "save for web" at medium setting and it went down to 16K and got accepted. The first 2 thumbnails I posted really sucked, this one is the best...

in photoshop CS you can do an optimise to file size when you do a save for web. There's a little arrow thingie on the right of the screen - dunno if it's in any other versions though
