I'm fifty now. I'd had a stroke. It was a couple of years back. In 1999 I went blind and had an operation and got my eye-sight back. My family is all dead now, having died off from a variety of natural reasons. I'm all that's left of my line, and I do NOT think like other people.
I grab each moment of my life as if it's my last moment on Earth. I like criticism both giving and receiving. If I leave a comment, it's because I was impressed, or see something that might make you a better artist. I can't save the world, but I damned well try to save my little corner of it.
Everyone can do their own thing to save the world. Don't litter, save energy, and be green if possible. We are as a species, destroying our home. That is a fact of life. we can save it, if we all act together. I don't expect it to be saved, but I'll try my best to motivate everyone around me to help out.
My tale I publish here about Toxic and the Four Sisters is a cautionary tale of another human world that teeters on the edge of death. I can't tell you if ours is closer or further from the edge. I sure as hell hope further than theirs!
I do many of my own textures and have gotten into modeling in Wings3D. I mostly use Poser and Vue for the images. I love to experiment around. I look for the boundaries and push them HARD! Do the same! Experiment! Play! Have FUN! Life IS too short to be miserable in all of it!
Trust me in that. I know it too well. ^___^V..

Excellent work!! SUPER*

I like the top image, with the two 'people' , and the bottom one with the city. The outside view of the city is quite realistic looking, and I wouldnt have minded visiting. The 'warehouse' interior in the middle (and in previous posts) doesnt appeal to me at all. The creatures look good - you should have more closeups in the future.

Good effort here. I particular like the third image and it would be particularly nice if some of the cloud overlapped the edge of the city in the foreground. It would make it look like it's sat just above the clouds. Good modelling work too. Well done!

I agree that the first and the last ones are the best, although the middle one is needed to give a idea of where the persons are. i think that you should change the pose in the second one to make it feel like some time has passed since the first one, and maybe also work a bit on the pose of the guard to make it more living. In the last image i believe that the size of the "windows" on the buildings are a bit to large and that slightly diminish the effect of the city being really huge. Also the small buildings might need some more contrast to make them more visible. Overall i think its a really nice series that creates a living world with only 3 images.

I like the third one too. Looks great! fantastic scene.

Wow! You went for BIG this time! Great picture(s)! I like all three of them. I agree with Zhack regarding size of the windows.

wow. i think these images are worlds better in terms of lighting and composition than your earlier work. you've really improved. your visual story telling is getting better and better. the figures are a bit lost in the middle one, but overall, i think your skill is growing by leaps and bounds. the warehouse interior which seems to be "urban future" by stonemason, and i like how you've used it. great colors and clarity.

I actually like all 3 images, and really have no complaints about the 2nd landing platform scene. The cities and the skyline are fantastic and believable. The cities down in the clouds are cool! Your work inspires me to flesh out my own story universes. [on soapbox] I only wish more people would view work like this instead of going crazy for nudity. [off soapbox] Excellent work!

Really impressive Joel, very cool modeling work. The bottom image could use a little shadow falling across the city bits, but small thing, overall a huge impressive piece of work.
