Description

Hi Guys and 'Happy Mothers Day' to all of you moms, and in celebration I decided to post these bright Ocatillo blooms. This is in my sisters front yard. There are always hummingbirds early in the morning, but I can never get a clear shot of the little buggers!! Anyways hope you enjoy a little spring in the desert. 8-)

These are beautiful! I saw some at White Sands NM, but they weren't nearly this nice. Thoroughly nasty looking thorns, though. Looks like it knows how to defend itself.
