Description
This is the Venus Statue and fountain in the garden of Bolsover Castle. Not much is known about it. It's sunken down into the grass around the edge are what appear to be seats so it is thought they may have bathed in the waters.

How intresting that the cupids are of the 'tacky' sort... making water. I've never seen that in a period fountain before.... then, maybe I never looked that closely! ;-D
