Eagle

With the Great Spirit
Showing us we can fly
High above our worldly realities
Beyond the shadow of our past
Showing us how to look upward
How to touch the sun with our souls
To love the cold as much as the warmth
To embrace the shadow as much as the light
To soar above self doubt
And reach the desires
And dreams
In our hearts.

Lasy spring and summer I watcher a live eagle cam. What a joy to see not only one but two eagletts hatched and raised to fledgling. A most beautiful image of our majestic bald eagle.

Beside all the pride, aren't eagles those who cry all the time? :-))) I remember songs like "Zhe Cry of the Eagle", "When the Eagle cry" etc pp. This here looks VERY pride - and VERY VERY good. Excellent image Carol, I directly can hear the beast cry!

Great bald eagle likeness and painting technique. IMHO the eye seems too small, so I did a google and discovered that there is a very dark-thick shadow around the eyes, which makes them look larger, just an observation, after all it is your fantasy and a very kool one at that ! ~Cheers~ :o)
