Not as moody (or fearful feeling) as the later image but looks better in my opinion. The spot lamp in the subsequent render was too hot and too close. Making the wide specularity channel setting on the eyes prevelent. Here, the image being brighter actually has a nice effect but doesn't really convey fear.
