The older and wiser trying to grasp the new. The younger and still growing, inside and out, struggles to coincide. And both sit before the timelessness of the fishing boats that were there before the Wiser and will be there long after the Younger is gone. Great shot.

I love this shot. What a story to tell. It is poignant. To me, it is at once tender and, at the same time, funny, in a way, because we all have our family idiosyncrasies and things and gestures familiar to us in our loved ones that make us smile. This photo makes me smile. I love the range of emotions this photo conveys.
