"And it's wake up time...Â
Time to open your eyes...
Time to rise and shine."
Those are lyrics from a song on Tom Petty's Wildflowers album.
Maybe it's time to stop dreaming with my eyes closed and open them to the Universal Flow. As my dear friend and I were discussing yesterday, there are many schools of thought which put forth the idea that when we struggle against this flow, we make things harder on ourselves, we flounder, we have to push to get where we think we're going, we try to control and find it a monumental task.
However, when one goes with the Universal Flow, the current which is guiding us each toward our higher purpose, everything becomes easier. It doesn't mean everything is perfect, but everything seems to fall into place.
Keeping one's eyes closed to this beautiful truth and trying to make the universe flow where you think it ought because of what you have decided you want, doesn't help. You might even get what you want faster because the Universal Flow will take you there.... see, it knows all the shortcuts.
That's what I hear, anyway.
So rise and shine, kids...
It's wake up time.

Nicely done. Sexy indeed. And I'm sure your otherside is just as sexy. :) If I may make a suggestion here- post it a smaller size for maximum impact - It's a beautiful pic and in my opinion would make a stronger statement if one didn't have to scroll and wait to see the entire image.

Thanks for the comments... I know the shadows were left intact around the image intentionally by the photographer/artist, which may be the softness to which you're referring. But hey, what do I know? I'm just the chick in the skirt! LOL. I am fond of the pic, too, and so's my mom. She making me a painting of it. When she's done and sends it to me, I'll post it so you can see what her artistic interpretation of the subject is. Too much fun... huh?
