We, as artists, whatever our medium, are a passionate group. It is our passion for our art, our passion for life and love that comes through. This is what we want to share with you. If we can make you smile, cry, laugh or feel desire, then we have succeeded. Â For you, the reader, the viewer to have one brief moment where you think of nothing else. Hi I'm Michelle. I use many mediums of art in which I express myself. The digital world is a door that I just recently dared to open. I've come here to learn another way of visualizing what's in my minds eye. " a mind all logic is like a knife all blade" BIO My intent is to learn and grow.I know that I am no where near the calibre of artist that span these pages, but I do aspire. So please, I ask that if you view my work to please leave a comment. Good, bad or indifferent. I'm not thinned skinned, how can we aspire to greatness if our skin is made of lace? Do not be afraid to say why you think and/or feel the way you do. How else will I know if I came across to you? You never know when your comment will inspire another. I hope that you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy yours.

This cemetery is over 200 years old. According to the keeper the trees have been there at least as long. If you zoom in you will see some old markers to the left and the far back. What I discovered is that some of the families have replaced them because they either have disintegrated or damaged. There are some that are completely illegible. You can't deny the soul of this tree! It reminds me of a gargoyle, hence the title. I do hope you enjoy! ~Michelle~

Nice pic Michelle. Makes me wonder what your doing wandering around a cemetery though. I mean if your looking for some action, that's not the swingingest place to be. Most folks there are really dead. And what's even more weird is that some folks are just dying to get in there.. go figure? Neat tree I must admit however. Again, I can't help but wonder about where it's roots are going and if the guy buried next to it really wanted to become plant food? On second thought.. that's rather cool.. a form of resurrection.. Hey look mom.. I got limbs but no hands and my bark is tougher than my bite. Ok.. I'm rambling now.. Hugs from Dave :^)

That is one outstanding tree, and I really believe you would find it in a graveyard. It's so twisted and scary looking. Love the pic. Huggs...Silkylady...
