Description

This is one of the many VERY LARGE grasshoppers who have taken up residence in my garden planter sitting on my hand.. I have never seen them this big before..LOL I was told that this is the immature stage of the Lubber grasshopper.. hate to see the mature stage o.O

A cool and very brave capture. And it still has some growth left. Mine love amaryllis leaves and bulbs. And the ones that survive ;) change to a green color. And a fact most people probably do not want to hear about is that squirrels find them a delicacy. :o)
