Forgotten
paint with words
this faded picture
found locked within my soul
a faint and persistent wail
filling each precious silence
with memory and thoughtfulness
taking me beyond this moment
filling the empty spaces
with lost images
of forgotten treasures.

thank you for all the nice comments. I am quite prolific at creating my work and usually do one or more a day. Obviously being restricted to one upload a day I'll have plenty of pieces to display. I have a couple of art & poetry books published if anyone is interested in having something more permanent. Most of these works have been downsized considerably as I originally create them for large format print, suitable for framing. Most of these pieces are 19 to 20 inches wide.
