Description

It seems that I change from "classical" spirals to images with Advanced Gnarl mapping and back again. Must admit that these "gnarlies" touch me more at the moment than the straightforward spirals. This one I first made with the blue/purple tones, with a touch of red. Then thought: no, not again blue and purple. Changed the colours to the green/yellow range (kept the red) but found that the impact of the image decreased. The greens and yellows were too gentle for the title that already got stuck in my head. So back to the blues and purples... Yvonne

It's so true that some images just look better in certain colors! This is perfectly colored in blues and purples!

Blues and purples look very dramatic here like a stormy sea. Great movement.

Monica, I've looked at the image again and I could see that the top left corner was "flat" so I've added a bit more shading in that area. No intention though to make the colours harder. The soft colouring and the hard-cut edges accentuate the meaning of "bewildered" in my opinion. Thanks for your response!
