Okay, so this isn't my best work. We all know that. And if we don't, well, I've just up and said it. I got so frustrated with myself today, it was nearly impossible to think clearly. I was (and still am) so excited, I finally got the Rituals pack from DM Productions. Been wanting that for quite a while, and I thought it would be just the thing I needed to boost my creative spunk. So I booted up the ol' Poser machine and opened the program, and sat there. For a good...oh, maybe hour and a half. With a blank screen. Unable to work. Or create. Or think. So, I gave up. And, finally, wanting to kick this creative block in the ass and tell it to get the hell out, I got this picture done. I wanted to do SOMETHING, otherwise I'd go crazy. So...TAKE THAT, CREATIVE MUZZLE!! HA!! Will be doing mostly portraits this week, I think, just to get myself back into the swing of things. Maybe that's what I need. Just to calm my brain down, do simple pieces. That always helps. Maybe write a few short stories instead of finishing a novel. *laughs* Thank you all for the helpful tips regarding the block...it's so nice to have a community like this to get me through the tougher times with my art. Among the many things in my life, this place is for sure a big source of inspiration, as are all of you.
