Hey Gang! This is in reply to duo's creature post of a Chupacabra. This is my 3-D Max of a H.G. Wells type Martain.

Missing shadows on the terrain. If this was composited in 3ds Max, the Matte shadow shader could've been used with spot lights to cast a shadow on a plane (with the material applied) and it would've appeared to cast upon the backdrop picture (in it's perspective) The alien looks tree root in nature and HG Wells would be happy with it!

Nice. I particularly like the beard. Makes the fellow look wise and inscrutable. Is the winged mantaray-like structure part of his head or perhaps some sort of symbiote.
