This looks like some kind of glass work, carved and polished, and maybe heated to get that softer look. it looks to me like a work for fall, leaves, ferns, some branches, some seed pods, beautifully lit by errant beams of sun. Fall always makes me feel a bit melancholy, perhaps that's why there is a bit of saddness to this piece.
