Description

One of the less scenic ( As you may have noticed ) but more artistic shots from my recent trip to Banff. This was taken just off the side of the highway between Lake Louise and Banff. ( Brant you should have gotten out ) Anyhow, as you can see it was snowing quite a bit that day, which really adds to the 'mystic' effect, this one is for my mother. Thanks for looking and comments on my last post! :-) Jon-Mark

this is an absolutely amazing capture, jon-mark. i love how the tracks curve, rather than your typical straight on shot. your pictures amaze me more and more with each post. we really need to hang out soon so you can teach me a thing or two :)

feel like a very very old bw pic turned to old sepia with years.. may be a little bit more contrast ? i'm not sure... but it could be nice i we can view a little more the snow in the air in the foreground, with the feeling of it in the background, it could be great ! ... great pic :oD

Love the lead-in of the track, which then curves away. The snow almost adds a grain to it. Very well done, Clive
