Description

I decided to waste todays upload on my mean ole cat - Emmit. He's been a part of the family for about 2 months now after my husband adopted him from the shelter. Emmit was such a loving animal the first week or so after he came home .. but once settled in, his true colors started to show. The previous own said her kids were allergic - however I believe he was abused. One moment he's loving and purring up a storm - the next he's taking a bite out of your arm or clawing you. Our 3 yr old loves him ... but he's scratched her out of the blue - we're actually starting to consider having him either declawed ( which i know is mean) or having to take him back to the shelter (which is worse in my book). Perhaps his behavior will improve. I hope so, for his an my daughter's sake.

I don't know what it is with cats and boxes. Paper bags are also a favorite :)

Cute. I had a cat that use to eat the boxes. Took about a mess:)

Ouch - difficult decision there, Kathy - Perhaps talk to an animal psychologist and they may help in ways help Emmit get over the insecureness / feeling of danger?
