Beautiful shot. Its difficult to get good shots of rocks, minerals and gems. This is a wonderful view of the agate.

Very nice photo. It looks like a very large piece when compared to the drill hole on the right. They say agate has many healing powers when worn against the skin. A beautiful stone when it is cut so you can see all the different layers and colours. Thank you for all the comments you have given me, it is very much appreciated. Randy (Orchidman)

Nice agate. I used to work in a lapidary shop, where we would cut agate nodules like these in half, and then on two sides, and make bookends out of them. This is a very pretty example. Nice. Most of our best agates came from Brazil, but I'd bet there are thousands of great specimens in Argentina. Thanks for sharing this, Roby.
