I think it's a willow tree.

Lovely tree indeed, Akemi. I love the color against the greens of the fields. It's definitely some kind of willow; Salix somethingorother. Seems like an odd place for a willow, though. Is there a pond just out of sight? They're water lovers.

There's just something about a willow that draws you to it. This lonely one is a natural to catch your eye...has a nice painterly look to it, and the nice sky really makes a nice background for this beauty.....Way to go Akemi-san!! Aloha~
