Description
I like how in Anime they capture the beauty and stillness of nature... especially when juxtaposed with the characters who are filled with inner turmoil. Here is Estenfall, a serious fellow; the servant of the shadow sword. He's making his way through the edge of mystic woods where glowflies play.
I'm mostly interested in feedback about his appearance and his outfit.... if anyone cares to comment.
It's for a kind of medieval samurai dark fantasy story...Lord of the Rings with Japanese fantasy flavor.

I think the face is good here; very typical of the genre. The image seems a bit too dark to see the detail in the robe, so I can't comment on that. The lower belt/Place-to-stick-a-sword is a little angular from what I can tell and I can't see much of any of the textures details at this range. Perhaps a few close-ups in brighter light would make the detail a bit easier to distinguish? Overall, it looks good though.

Great character here. The outfit appears a little too dark for me. The face has a pinkish appearance but it's perhaps the wanted effect. There is also some strange reflections on his toenails.

Like the character, love the airbrushed quality of his face. From what I can see of his clothing it looks very elegant, but then again, it's a dark image. The hand in the back looks like there is too much light, not enough shadow on the palm side. His hair looks just a little bit noisy, I don't know if that's deliberate, my failing eyes or actually from the render, you may want to adjust your shading rate on the hair. And yes, his toenails do look enameled. Looking forward to this character's development, sounds like an interesting storyline.

This really IS quite good.... I'd go for a little less aggressive pink, though, in the face. Makes him look like he should have red hair. Lou.

very nice image...the background is just as you described...i might heighten the contrast a notch or two to add to the depth of field. the character is very clean...maybe just a little too clean. i would probably try to add some shadows to the eyes and maybe just a few wrinkles...his skin is so flawless...almost unreal...since he is a tormented character, i would like to see some expression and character lines... the crest on his chest might be interesting if we could see it a bit more... but certainly a lovely image...
