Description

This scene is now almost 2 years old (from 1999). Inspired by the picture " Gotischer Dom am Wasser " from Schinkel (German master builder and painter 1781-1841). The whole scene, with the exception of the front arch is made with lattice. The most difficult object in the scene is the cathedral (my first big lattice object). Hope you like this new version of the scene.

Yes I know the picture but isn't ist called "Dom er der Stadt"? I like your picture, very atmospheric. Maybe you could rework the arch in the front, they are not really gothic.

Looks like the "Dom" that I saw latest time in Germany then name of the city was Xanten or so, don't remember exat. Great work, great models !!!

Can't really ad anything new to the other comments. Just to say that what you've achieved with lattices inspires and amazes. Maybe you should consider writing a lattice modelling tutorial?
