Description

"...I might as well begin to put some action in my life Breaking the law, breaking the law Breaking the law, breaking the law..." ~ lyrics by Judas Priest

I know, I'm breaking the "law" too by having that cone almost dead center, and then by drawing attention to it by keeping it colored while toning the rest of the image. What can I say? I'm in a bit of a rebellious mood this morning. Happy Monday everyone! ------

Waking up to the changing tide at Rosarita Beach after sleeping in a Chevy wagon while a man in a red vinyl raincoat draped with kelp and calling out "Pray for Surf" is prancing on the roof is one of the those days to study the "surge."

Yes when I saw this scene I also thought that the red colored cone is too precise in the centre BUT I think the color makes it to have it in the mid of the shot! Basically a provocative capture which has got its justification!!!

My eyes still fan out and see the whole image, center or not. An image of anticipation or hope. Looking for the big ones. Super photograph. Hugs, Suzanne

Use of some receptions happens justified as which wind today should not be as which air never suffices in the big city.

water, water everywhere and ne'er a weed to toke? Only in Fla? (PS: my drugs are strictly of the legal kind: they come in a bottle or a can and the taxman ALWAYS gets his cut)

Law or not I do like a red cone in a middle...but he is a rebel to ignore a sign. Great shot!

Nice shot, but the cone should have been cloned out of existence. If you had centered the sign post and the surfer dude a bit more in the photo it would have made a neat composition all by themselves. Also, if the offspring of an unmarried couple can't read or write, does that make him/her an, "illegitimate illiterate?"

O.K. so the cone is centered, no biggie, but what is it doing on the beach in the first place ? to make sure you can surf around it ? watchout for stampeding elephants ?...mmm, whatever it is for, it makes a good focal point ! ~Cheers~ :o)

I think the red cone draws your eye into the photo and the surfie. Lovely tonings.

Looking to ride the big surf, they fear not the dangers. Try posting something like "SHARKS!". It might slow them down... Excellent candid shot. Aloha
