I personally love to talk to the older folks. They usually have the coolest stories! Sad that some of them are neglected. Very lovely image! Excellent work! (:

Sometimes these things just catch us this way and your fractal does portray some sides to these homes which are sad but I like how you have let some light in.

My first reaction was like MedTran39's... Fading away... terrible. Very evocative work.

I watched a program about old people last night, too! It made me just as blue as you.......people should never forget that we will all be there one day. Money is and never should be an argument for this drawback. :-( I like the way you have expressed your emotions here!

Yes, it's so true. I go every week to visit two elderly friends. Some of the residents have noone. Some suffer horribly, and the homes are almost always under-staffed..so the patients are often neglected, at least. One of my friends is in her mid-80's and has Parkinson's. I hate to see the suffering, neglect and loneliness. Your image is emotive; so sad and conveys the failing health..but still beautiful, like all the lonely elderly.

A lovely, poignant image. Time is wearing holes into our lives.

Sigh. Very sad state the elderly are in, and soon it will be us. Time moves swiflty. A beautiful, yet melancholy render
