Description

Finally, an orchid from Orchidman. I have to confess that my nickname has nothing to do with the flower. Orchid was the model name of my first house and I've always used Orchid since then. However, when I joined Renderosity, orchid was taken and with incredibly original thinking, I chose Orchidman. So when Roby Hermida asked to see Ordhidman's orchid, I felt obligated to shoot one. This past mother's day I bought this for my wife (she knows the story) and shot "a million" pictures to get one worthy enough to share with all of you. I hope you like it. And to Roby, if you see this, my wife thanks you for the orchid she probably would not have got it if it were not for you. Thanks for reading this far and for all past comments. Randy (Orchidman)

Thank you for sharing your story on how you got your name. I love it! :) And this is one beautiful Orchid. I heard they aren't easy to grow .. I have never had one. Anyway,, gorgeous shot .. beautiful flower :)

Finally!!! finally !!! finally !!!!! An orchid of Orchidman!! good their wife has to be very happy because she has a good husband!! good photographer and good partner!! Beautiful shot! I appreciated Roby before, but now I also have to thank him for talking you into this photo! It's very good. (I was pretty sure the beings you share your avatar pic with were not floral in nature.)
