Description

This is a portrait of my barn kitty (known as BK- she kinda moved in on her own into my barn and we said we wouldn't name her so we wouldn't get attached.. yeah right.. that was 12 years ago now:) Now she is really the "Porch Cat":) Was actually trying to get some nice pix of my Morgan buckskin girls playing in all the pretty green spring here but they weren't being cooperative:) Anyway I thought it was a fun image and it reminded me a lot of my "Return of Aslan" piece:) And thanks SO much to you all for the overwhelming response to my "War Pony" I was totally blown away! Happy Spring!

It's amazing how cats worm their way into our hearts isn't it. A wonderful portrait of BK. She doesn't look fazed at all.

I thought BK would stand for "Big Kitty" lol. We also have a gray long-hair that found her way to our barn at no more than 6 wks old. A tiny ball of spitting/hissing fluff she was! Having long ago run out of cat names we just called her "Gray". This is a terrific capture, love the way you've framed it in close. =)
