This is a scanned image of a hand drawn portrait from 1980.It was taken from a Life Magazine photograph. Medium used - pastel pencil, graphite pencil, and ink on paper.It required approximately 40-50 hours over a 4 week period.

Drawing after photographes is an excellent way of practising your skills but it is not very creative. So I applaud your craftmanship but not your creativity. (By the way Fahrenheit 451 is a great story and a great film, isn't it?)
