Hehe I downloaded Terragen today :P I really wanted to see what it was all about.
I love it!
This is made with my most favoritest color :P
I did postwork a bit to add the soft focus and give it that extra misty quality.

Beautiful - great color! I guess my one suggestion would be to rethink the cloud cover... the mountains and river look great but the clouds look kind of blocky... not sure if it's the after effects or program itself

i really like the look of the water. but like finister said the clouds dont look right. maybe if you made them a little less uniform in their colour pattern and put patches of white in the dark bits and black in the white bits

Indeed the clouds look a little "choppy" and blocked. I have terragen myself and it took a bit of time to get the hang of it. Liked it so much i bought the pro version! For the clouds make sure you render it using the highest level of detail, on the bottom of your viewer you can find the render options, you want to make sure you have the max detail for the clouds. Also tick of to render "cloud shadow" so your water (or whatever is reflected) reflects the clouds shadows too for more depth and realism. I dont recall exactly where the toggles are for all this, but you can find them from the main terragen preiview window.
