Description

My favorite wisteria is in full bloom, although it's not quite as grand as usual. I think it hasn't gotten enough rain this year; the leaves were a bit curled, and the blossoms weren't as long as usual. But I think you'll agree it's a pretty impressive plant. That's a human-sized bench you can see underneath the plant. It's actually two large plants growing together from the corners of a framework made from large metal pipe.

You made me laugh...I have 3 wisterias in my yard right now and they are all over 2 feet tall! I can only hope they grow to half this splendor! Lovely shot with the bench hidden below.

Wow, I'm still impressed even if it isn't as grand as usual. The picture is beautiful! We plan on going to see this Friday after we return from the beach.

Dennis - I have tried for 21 years, without success, to grow Wisteria on the sea side windy North West Coast of England, grrrrr. Now I am retired, I am going to give it another "go", and I am further inland. If I can produce one even a quarter as beautful as this I will be content -something about Wisteria, making it a magical plant.Thankyou :-)
