Description
Inspired by the African Queen film, which is one of my favorites. A bit of postwork was done here to enhance lighting and add smoke.
The beautiful sky is one of Bruno's From Dawn to Dusk skies, which will be available soon at Cornucopia!! Plants are mine (Incredibly Lush). All else is from DAZ.

A night scene! Cool! I love the film as well, and understood the correlation therefore directly. Incredible lush vegetation here too, but the atmosphere is something I really missed for Vue. Oh, the vegetation of course too. And yes, I love you all! :-)))))

Awesome render wonderful work, I had to laugh though, when I opened your picture one of the fans in my computer case started to make clicking noises, the same rythm as an engine, I thought sound as well. :,)

I just saw a film on the Discovery channel about a group of tourist paddling a river full of crocs and hippos over there. A hippo capsized the boat and a croc malled one of the passengers. They were all very lucky to not being eaten after spending the night stuck on a sandbar in the middle of the river! You want to be in a boat a hippo can't tip over if you ever go yourself!

Oh my! I've got to add this one to my favs! Lots to learn from it. Don't know quite where to focus my praise; there's a wonderful unity and peaceful mood to this one. Love the sky, the river's reflected light, what you've done with the "Queen." Just a terrific composition. "African Queen" is one of my favorite movies, too.

Judicious use of the 2 light's makes them like lanterns from the distance, you could imagine the native cannoes gliding toward's the boat.
