We used to have these all over the yard at my old house... I loved watching them pop up through the last remains of the snow... Very Nice Photo!

Maybe I am confusing this, but is the german word or austrian word for this perhaps Edelweiss? "Blossom of Snow may you bloom and grow forever". Beautiful flower, great photograph. Makes me long so much for springtime, you are lucky to have spring so early, its very grey and cold here.

Thanks Syyd and Alpha, The name for this flower in German is SchneeGlocke what in English translation will a SNOWBELL, I think it is very interesthing with the flower that every country have all must diferent name but well always the snow included in this name. As very long time ago in Poland I have also all over the yard at my home, that was just amazing a lions of this flowers around, now I have maybe 10 in my Garden but still I am happy for the 10 that tell me th winter is over. The latest days was very warm and I hope the true spring comming very soon...in Holand is not so cold that in New York Syyd, here we have maybe 2 days snow in year, but well the rest rain and hard wind.
