Description
Pulled an old model off an old system and decided to render a new shot of it. I'm going to post some various shots, then I'm going to rework the model with any toward making the ship a little more like the technology seen in "Enterprise," (since this ship is an older ship design than even NX-01) including the ablative armor and a whole new hangar bay and impulse deck, as well as some real windows with some interiors visible. So, these are the 'before' pictures. :)

Saucer's radius too small. But nice model for tweaking.

well, it depends on the model, I s'pose..;) For a good take on 'pre-Enterprise) ships, go to a site called 'The Starfleet Museum', which covers everything from the TOS era on back. Can't have too many Star Trek ships..welcome to the world of 'kitbashing'..;)

RBlue, the ship is the SS Bonaventure, a precursor to NX-01 from the Animated Star Trek series. It was found in the Delta Triangle, in a graveyard of starships. It is a small ship compared to Kirk's, and even Archer's. I made it from a set of blueprints. :)

I like your ship.
