Description

I took these day before yesterday along with more dragonflies. this "Little Blue Butterfly - Cupido comyntas"-yes that is it's name because it is really a small fellow.look at this link to get an idea of the size http://bugguide.net/node/view/93610 this is the first Monarch this year that I could get close to.the Little Blue" I had to get on my knees to get close enough to do any justice and still it was so hard to focus on it.it was very apprehensive about me being so close

It really must have trusted you to get that close, sensed you were "in tune" with nature I bet beautiful Monarch here. Little blue is so furry ha ha just makes me want to pet him! super capture!

Yup, I know all about focusing on butterflies, it can be frustrating at times. Excellent collage of the butties; I especially like the profile shot of the Monarch. You got a nice sharp and colorful image of that beauty. I also like the various poses and detail in the other four pictures.
