This photo was taken in 1968, in Iran, near the town of Maku, just across the border with Turkey. I was on my way East, a three-and-a-half months travel which ended in Kathmandu, Nepal. I was hitchhiking with a companion from Brighton, England, whom I met in Munich, Germany. I am sitting on the hood of this Mercedes, that would take us to Teheran. From there I travelled by any means available through Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Nepal.
I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and I run a small literary publishing firm.

You are getting on it now - unlike me who insisted on twisting every knob to the left or right... Keeping it simple is safe!

Agree, this is the best in the series. Each image is getting better and better. You've done a fine job here with lighting, POV; and, surface color variation.
