Description

Firstly, I'd like to say thanks for everyone's help with my last upload - I think I'm gonna upload an improved version at some point :P With this shot, I was pretty much playing around with using my back garden pathway as a photographic tool - so I guess this is sort of a tester :P I had no models to hand, even my sister's left home :p so I used the good old timed capture again for a self portrait. The original photo was nicely lit is quite nice too, but something felt off-balanced, so I gave in to photoshop :P As regards the title, it is my last day ever at college tomorrow, so naturally, I have been going over all the memories, and thinking about how much i've lost, gained, still have, and how much has changed and stayed the same. Some memories are hazy, some as crisp as daylight... Thanks for looking xx Cosmic

Awwws...this picture makes me feel all teary eyed...i have no idea why...guess it's coz it's the last day tomoz :(....we HAVE to see zodiac..ots out tomorow isn't it hehe..anyway this picture is stunning! i love the circle in the middle and the mist and light are perfect....you look like an elf lol xD...i think you tried to call me earlier :o my phone no longer has sound which is rediculous so i had no idea until it sad "missed call!" lol anyway is everything ok? gimme a call later if ya want :D luv ya xxxx

This is totally bad-ass! Love the monochrome color scheme, the soft lighting and the distant but intense look in your eyes -- it's one of the most soulful images I've ever seen. The low quality of the JPEG and large size are a little distracting, though; if you shrunk this to about 70% it'd fix both those problems. Giving this a 5 despite that, just because it's so awesome.

Thanks for all your comments! And also thanks for pointing out the size and quality issue - I have resized it and updated the image, which looks much better, thought the Jpeg quality is still quite poor. hmmm, I shall have to work on this :P thanks xx Cosmic
