My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I love this image. :)

This is so pretty. I've always thought these flowers looked "upside down," i.e. compared to similar looking blossoms like orchids, the "throat" is on top instead of the bottom. I guess whatever attracts the bees works.

Soft lighting in this lovely compo of the rhododendrons, with their tissue paper petals contrasted against the black background for emphasis. Evidently you're experiencing a surfeit of the species. A good idea to alternate between subject matter in your displays. In fact, I do it all the time!

Hmmmph!! Well, someone can grow them. I kill the poor things everytime I try planting them. These are lovely!!
