Description

I saved the best waterfall from the Oneonta Gorge hike for Chrissy's birthday. Happy Birthday, Chrissy! And in a shameless attempt to get a few more views on an old upload, compare it with this one from winter of 2003. Not quite the same POV, but you'll figure it out. That day was so cold and windy I had trouble being outside the car long enough to grab a few shots. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

BTW, this isn't really crooked; it was windy, as it usually is in the Columbia Gorge, and the falls was being blown sideways.

:-) I like your follow up comment on the slant of the water. I had already decided it had to be the wind because the trees and upper horizon were so nicely straight. Wow! That had to be one heck of a breeze! Very nice shot and the foliage is as lovely as the waterfall.
