Love those patterns, they have me decidedly intrigued. Not too sure about the prominent dark areas but they certainly enable the red fingers to flourish unimpeded. That combination also forces you to the (mysterious) "spot." We are shown and denied at the same time. There is a lesson in that somewhere.
