Description

This is a D-Day Legend. She flys today as she did on D-Day... in her D-Day strips. I have had the joy to fly in her a few times. This shot was taken early one rainy morning, I thought it caught her majesty.

Cool pic. Dont see alot of these around. There is one Catalina service out here (long beach Ca) that uses a few DC-3's as charters. Always cool to see them in the sky still cruisin along... Well done.

I'm a big C-47/DC-3 fan. The first plane I saw my Dad take off in was a DC-3. Great capture of this historic plane.
