i liked the top twenty
because it gave me a
quick summary of very good
and high quality images in
the past.
now there is a lot of crap in it
(including my last artwork :) )
i thought we could bring quality back.
but.
just forget about it.

Alternative website ?... I like this "fanzine aspect"... The top 20 ? I find it not so bad. Today I'm first (it's a joke). I'm also surprised to see someone like Amblober, which I like very much, yet his work is not really commercial. But generaly I'm suspicious about tops because majorities are often wrong because they're afraid about changements. It's generaly marginals in all domains which made "evoluate" the society. Look the sciences: Aristote, Galil, Darwin... Sometines they were killed for their new ideas. And don't talk about arts... Only chickens liked the Van Gogh paintings when he lived... Now he's locked in safes (coffre-forts)... So you're a few cultured motivate voters, maybe it's better like that... Did we ever saw a jazzman in the billboard ? On TV I saw free-jazzmen playing in a squatt in Chicago in front of 40 people. How to compare it with Britney Spears (who is it) ?... They're not in the same worlds. It's the eternel problem beetween quality and diffusion. But be careful about our media trusts, (Messier in France, son of a b... he "likes artists" and he think he's Napoleon... He compensates his no-talent by power). In Italia the media king is also a politician, a fascist named Berlusconi. How to see underground in it ? By their mondialisation and uniformisation fantasms (money !) they're killing the cultures, they are killing INNOVATION, and the future battle will be here and not only in a little website top.
