Nikon 7900 image. I am posting this image that I know is too large to be seen in it's entirity on a moniter. I thought I would give anyone interested an opportunity to see the fine details of this chunky caterpiller. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

Very surreal looking, as it looks like a cactus growing out of 4 plant pots. Ive never seen a caterpiller like this before. Great shot

Very cool. Has to be seen in full size to appreciate it. I guess the left side is the head? It looks more like something a cactus might grow.

wow, I'm impressed! It's so clear from head to back toes! I tried shooting a caterpillar over the weekend and not much luck. Could only focus on a small part of it at once. You did great :)
