Thank you for stopping by and for viewing my work. I am a mother of three wonderful stepchildren, a wife to a loving and supportive husband, and I also work full time. I have no formal training in art, but from a young age wanted to be an artist. The problem was I wasn't any good at drawing or painting. I couldn’t translate from my brain to the paper/canvas what I saw.  I did have other talents, singing is a passion of mine, I sing in the shower and car every day. (grins) I also dabble with stain glasswork, scrapbook, stamping, embroidery, needlepoint and the list goes on.
December 2006 I found Daz Studios and for the first time was able to at least get some of the images I saw in my head out. But it wasn't as easy as it seemed. Nothing good ever is. I started posting images on Renderosity and met some wonderful people who invited me to join a group of people who all used Daz Studios and so my learning increased. We now have a wonderful forum called Daz Artist Guild dedicated to helping people who want to improve their skills using Daz Studios.ÂÂ

~ DLG ~ WOW!! Great job!! 5+++++ I agree with callad, it does seem that part of her isn't touching the floor. Instant favorite!

Charley~ you know me I get a sugesstion and I try to make the correction. I am in the process of doing that right now. Though to be honest I thought I did have down to the floor. I used the menu item "move to floor" I guess that doesn't really take the item all the way down. I am rendering again will let you see it when she is actually on the floor.. :)

DLG... Yes, for reflections on the floor, her body should be touching where the reflection touches. In other words, knee to knee, pelvic to pelvic, both elbows to both elbows. Then all will be perfect because other wise, the posing, the lighting, everything else is excellent! I love her soft elegant features... so pretty.

DLG - great reflection on the floor looks like you are figuring it out. Looks good MKeys has some good suggestions.

Very beautiful work!!!!BRAVO

DLG.. Looks like the reworked version took care of the issues mentioned above. The only other thing I would suggest is trying to apply the background image to something like the free DNA Skydome or a flat surface like the Cyclorama and re-render it to see if that makes the background image reflect as well. Either way, the image looks stunning now.. and I'm definately adding it to my favorites!

Wow! Thats a great image... and LOVE the background!!!

Jen reflection floor is the best, also in DazStudio if you add a Plane and point a light down to the floor it will do the same thing, but for your first its fabulous
callad
DLG :) Great reflection! :) Must say I think she is VERY pretty!!! Love the way you've posed her, and her hand in her beautiful hair!!! Tip: Try to bring her to the floor as a whole.. her left elbow is just right but the rest seems to be a bit above the surface. Grin Hey!! You edited the picture so my "Tip" does not make sence anymore!! And even worse.. now I do not have a tip anymore!!! This is EXCELLENT!!! Girl, I just HAVE to fav this one!!!

DLG- - -> You continue to be a fine example of what being a Dazney Lander is all about, continuing to challenge yourself with something new in order to become a better artist. You've done well here, the reflection turned out practically perfect. Very pretty model too. You're taking all the right step to becoming as good as you hope to.

DLG - Wow this is wonderful - I gather you reworked it, she looks properly "grounded" now :) I was playing with reflections this weekend too, but didn't succeed. The mirror props I found were PC only and my attempt at making a mirror myself failed :) This is a very elegant pic, I really like it :)

I searched up my name in credits and I found this gorgeous image you made with my Rebekka :) I truly love it! Love the way you have posed her, and the reflection looks so good, you really did an amazing job on this :) I did not see the other version before you redid it, but I can truly say that this is awesome! I love the background you have used that match the colours of Rebekkas second skin and makeup so great, it gives such a nice thouch to the whole image. I will put it into my favorites, and thank you so much for using my Rebekka in this stunning piece of work :) I wish you a wonderful week! ~Best regards from Hedda~

DLG - Beautiful job. I love the reflective floor. Great job. -L

DLG, great image! I seems she is lying on a mirror! I wonder how to make the effect of a reflective surface which doesn't reflect 100 %, e.g. polished granite.

Dlg-> Look's like you've gotten the reflections down and she is definately on the floor now.. Nice posing, pretty character and nice outfit..
